Ledbury Archery Club

Target and Clout archery for all

Beginner’s course info

So you’d like to try Archery – great news!

The first thing you may like to complete is a  ‘Taster Session’ – a 1 1/2 to 2 hr session of dedicated coaching with one of our experienced Club members. You’ll learn the basic principles of successful, safe Archery – and it may help you decide if you’d like to take the next step and enrol onto a ‘Beginners course’.

The Beginners Course is essential if you’d like to join an Archery Club anywhere in the UK.

10 hrs of expert Coach tuition and guidance (over 2 consecutive weekends) will teach you all you need to know to get started including safety, equipment, types of Archery, shooting technique etc.. When you successfully complete the Beginners Course you can join any UK Archery Club (subject to individual terms and conditions of membership).
